TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE (ONLINE ORDERS ONLY)
These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through The Ivory Room Bridal Pty Ltd (“The Ivory Room”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Orders
By placing an order, you agree to purchase the selected goods (“Goods”) for the price listed on our website (“Price”), in accordance with these Terms.
2. Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include applicable taxes and import duties unless otherwise stated.
Full payment is required at the time of purchase for all online orders. Additional fees may apply, including but not limited to rush fees, split sizing fees, and customisation fees.
Payments are processed via secure third-party providers. We are not responsible for the handling or security of your payment information by these providers.
We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Bank transfer may be arranged upon request.
3. Production & Timeframes
All gowns, veils, and accessories are made to order unless otherwise stated.
Estimated production and delivery timeframes are outlined on our website and are provided as a guide only. Delays may occur due to circumstances outside our control, including but not limited to supplier delays, shipping disruptions, or events beyond reasonable control (“Force Majeure Event”)
By placing an order, you acknowledge responsibility for allowing sufficient time before your wedding or event date.
4. Sizing & Measurements
When ordering online, you are responsible for or checking your measurements on our size chart to determine what your closest size is.
We are able to offer guidance via a virtual measurement appointment; however, you acknowledge that all measurements provided are your responsibility and that sizing is not guaranteed to result in a perfect fit. Alterations are always required.
Split sizing and customisations may incur additional fees.
5. Fluctuations
You acknowledge that body measurements may change between ordering and delivery. The Ivory Room is not responsible for fit issues arising from body changes and you agree that you will not be entitled to a refund or other compensation if you are not able to use your Gown due to a Fluctuation. This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
6. Alterations
Alterations are not included in the purchase price. You will need to engage an independent alterations specialist at your own cost.
Any alterations undertaken by a third party are outside of our control, and we are not liable for the outcome of such work.
7. Cancellations
All orders are considered final once confirmed and are not eligible for cancellation or refund, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.
We reserve the right to cancel an order where necessary, including if a product becomes unavailable. In such cases, a full refund will be provided.
8. Shipping & Delivery
Orders may be collected or shipped. Shipping is fulfilled via third-party carriers such as Australia Post or DHL.
Once your order has been dispatched, risk in the Goods passes to you. Title passes once full payment has been received.
We will provide tracking details. You are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and complying with any carrier or customs requirements.
We are not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused by third-party carriers.
9. Product Variations
Due to the handmade and made-to-order nature of our garments, slight variations in fabric, colour, and finish may occur.
Product images are for illustration purposes only and may differ slightly from the final product.
10. Inspection of Goods
We require you inspect your order immediately on receipt and notifying us promptly of any concerns.
This recommendation does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
11. Returns & Exchanges
Please refer to our Returns Policy available on our website. By placing an order, you agree to this policy.
In the event of any inconsistency, these Terms will prevail.
12. Consumer Guarantees
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement, repair or refund where required by law, including where goods are deemed faulty.
13. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

General wear and tear or improper care

14. Intellectual Property
All designs, imagery, and content remain the property of The Ivory Room and its designers.
You must not copy, reproduce, or replicate any designs.
By tagging or sharing images with us, you grant permission for us to repost for marketing purposes unless you advise otherwise.
15. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be handled within Australian courts.
17. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will apply from the time they are published on our website.
